1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SoulBound ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms, you may not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use SoulBound. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and meet all eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to verify your identity and age at any time.
3. Account Registration
You may register using Google OAuth or email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. The Compatibility Quiz
SoulBound requires completion of a comprehensive compatibility questionnaire. You agree to provide honest and accurate answers. Deliberately providing false or misleading information may result in account termination. Your quiz responses are used solely for the purpose of generating a compatibility profile and finding potential matches.
5. Matching Process
Our AI-powered matching engine analyzes your profile across multiple compatibility dimensions. We only notify you when a 100% compatibility match is identified. SoulBound does not guarantee a match will be found within any specific timeframe. The matching process is continuous and ongoing as new members join the platform.
6. Payments and Subscriptions
SoulBound offers paid plans for access to the matching queue. Payments are processed securely through PayPal. All prices are displayed in USD at the time of purchase. For subscription plans, billing occurs on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
7. Refund Policy
One-time entry payments are non-refundable once your profile has entered the matching queue. Subscription payments may be refunded on a pro-rata basis if cancelled within the first 7 days of the billing cycle. Contact support@soulbound.ink for refund requests.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) harass, abuse, or harm other users; (c) impersonate any person or entity; (d) attempt to reverse-engineer our matching algorithm; (e) use automated scripts or bots to access the Service; or (f) violate any applicable laws or regulations.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, algorithms, content, and branding, is the intellectual property of SoulBound. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without express written permission.
10. Privacy
Your use of SoulBound is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
11. Limitation of Liability
SoulBound is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will find a match or that any match will lead to a successful relationship. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoulBound shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your profile data will be retained for 90 days before permanent deletion, unless you request immediate deletion.
